SOUND CITY confirms new festival dates this October

A pillar of essential new music discovery and the go-to destination for music lovers’ next favourite act, Sound City is primed to return in 2021 with a rich lineup of the best in boundary-breaking names – with even more favourites added for an unmissable weekend, now taking place between October 1st-3rd 2021.

Set to mark the perfect opportunity for music fans to discover their next favourite acts, Sound City’s move to October will see an unrivalled bill of names all destined to soundtrack the months ahead and into a huge 2022. From the incredible Rejjie Snow, The Murder Capital, The Snuts, The Lathums, Lanterns On The Lake and Abbie Ozard to bursting new talent cementing Liverpool’s place as a true global music capital in Red Rum Club and The Mysterines to emerging new names from around the world such as Miss Tati, Hello Delaware, Isabel Neib,Brooke Combe – Sound City is the definitive home of new music discovery and the perfect celebration of the undeniable spirit of incredible live music and the future sounds shaping playlists and moments across the globe. 

It’s just a taste of what to expect from Sound City this year, with a third headliner set to be announced in the coming months alongside a feast of the best in new music – with tickets on sale now for the celebratory weekend (with all previously purchased tickets being valid for these new dates). Ensuring Sound City returns with a bang and full of that peerless dedication to incredible breaking artists, championing vital change within the music industry and more – Sound City’s place in new music is set to enter a new chapter come October. 

Continuing their long-standing relationship, Sound City is once again the UK’s lead festival partner for Keychange, a global movement focused on the restructuring of the music industry to achieve gender equality. Sound City are committed to championing gender equality across all of their global musical projects from Sound City Korea, Ipswich and latest streaming platform Guesthouse. Leading a vast array of festivals and events across the UK and beyond, the focus remains on achieving equal representation for women and gender minorities – a focus that will be shown across the full Sound City lineup with many more names to be revealed in the months ahead and through a range of initiatives, panels and more.
