Bella Union at The Great Escape

Bella Union continues its 25th Anniversary celebrations with two special events at The Great Escape in Brighton. Friday 13th May sees the label host a showcase at The Old Market featuring wonderful new signing Sophie Jamieson alongside A.A. Williams, B.C Camplight and Warmduscher. The following day we’ll be at The Beach hosting a party featuring plantoid, Tallies, Laundromat, Laura Groves and Penelope Isles. Stage times for both events can be found on the flyer below.

Commenting on the events label founder Simon Raymonde says: “The Great Escape being in the town where my wife and I live, where our vinyl shop is, where our new label and management offices are, makes this week a very special one in our calendar. For the last 6 or so years we have put on memorable sell-out capacity showcase events at TGE with the likes of John Grant, BC Camplight, Jambinai, LOWLY, Pom Poko, Penelope Isles, Liela Moss and this year with our 25th Anniversary to celebrate, we have decided to ramp up the excitement, with TWO showcases, one on Friday night at The Old Market, Hove and one on Saturday night at THE BEACH on the…. beach! 9 bands that we LOVE and 9 bands who leave it all on the stage every single time.
