There’s just one month to go until Hampton Court Palace Festival makes its highly anticipated return this June. UK pop royalty McFly, Grammy award-winning superstar Kacey Musgraves, 80s legends The Human League, New Zealand rock band Crowded House, soul-jazz guitar legend George Benson, acclaimed singer-songwriter Jack Savoretti, indie rock giants Elbow, the nation’s much-loved musical duo Michael Ball & Alfie Boe, British reggae legends UB40 and Ministry of Sound Classical are all set to light up the stage at this year’s festival which kicks off on Thursday 9 June and runs until Saturday 25th June. Reggae stars UB40 featuring Ali Campbell will open the festival on Thursday 09 June . One of the most successful British groups of all time, the band have sold over 100 million records throughout their 30-year career. The palace crowd can look forward to Ali Campbell singing all their classic hits such as No.1 singles ‘Red Red Wine’ and ‘(I Can’t Help) Falling In Love With You’.
Friday 10 June sees Manchester’s own indie rock stars, Elbow take the stage. Fresh from the lauded release of their ninth studio album, Flying Dream 1, fans can expect to hear tracks from their latest material as well as certified classics such as ‘One Day Like This’ and ‘Grounds for Divorce’. Due to popular demand, the group will be back for a second show on Saturday 11 June.
McFly are set to keep the party going this year with their set on Wednesday 15 June. Before hitting the road again in 2022, the band will undoubtedly dazzle Hampton Court Palace Festival with a set full of classic mega hits including ‘All About You’, ‘Star Girl’, ‘Obviously’, ‘Shine A Light’, and tracks from their sixth studio album ‘Young Dumb Thrills’.
Thursday 16 June will see one of the world’s most iconic and legendary jazz artists take to the stage. George Benson, ten time Grammy Award Winner & ‘Give Me the Night’ star, is set to show why he’s described as the Jazz Master with a hugely impressive catalogue.
Inspired by the glamour of the French and Italian Riviera, fans will be able to experience Jack Savoretti‘s hits like ‘Secret Life’, as well as his older material from 2019’s #1 album Singing to Strangers in a truly unique setting on Friday 17 June.
World leaders in dance music, Ministry of Sound are bringing their new classical music experience to Hampton Court Palace Festival. Fans can expect an evening of beats and rhythms as special guest DJs are set to take to the stage on Saturday 18 June with the dance anthems as you’ve never heard them before. Joined by dance pioneer Seb Fontaine, renowned for his high-profile residencies and radio shows, iconic DJ Fat Tony, and Zambian 90s club sensation Rozalla, the party is sure to get started at the palace and guests can dance the night away.
Making her return to the UK in 2022, critically acclaimed American singer-songwriter Kacey Musgraves will enchant Hampton Court Palace Festival with a set full of her bold, empowering and deeply personal songs this summer. The six-time Grammy winner and triple No.1 Billboard Top Country Album recipient will perform at the beautiful and unique grounds of the festival on Wednesday 22 June, following the release of her latest, and fifth, studio album ‘star-crossed’.
Bringing their live show to Hampton Court Palace Festival for the first time on Thursday 23 June, The Human League are set to treat fans to synth-pop heaven with immortal pop classics such as ‘Don’t You Want Me’ and the transatlantic smash ‘Human’.
Michael Ball & Alfie Boe, whose incredible voices, instant camaraderie and lovable personalities have garnered a huge legion of fans across the nation, and an impressive 1.3 million album sales, two Classic Brit Awards, sold out headline arena tours, and three ITV specials will be returning to Hampton Court Palace Festival on Friday 24 June. The duo will undoubtedly delight the crowd with beautiful and timeless songs from their four chart-topping duet albums.
With timeless classics such as ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’ and ‘Weather With You,’ as well new material such as this year’s Dreamers Are Waiting, Crowded House will bring the festival to a triumphant close on Saturday 25 June.
