Hampton Court Palace Festival Wraps Immensely Popular 2022 Edition

On Saturday, Hampton Court Palace Festival closed its Festival gates and raised its glasses for a final time this year as Crowded House lit up a sold-out Base Court with their electric energy and sing-along classics. Concluding the festival’s epic run of eleven nights, the Kiwi icons gave a rousing performance of many of their iconic hits such as ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’ and ‘Weather With You’ to standing ovation.

Performing live from the home of Henry VIII, Crowded House were the final act to take to the stage in this year’s run of incredible concerts which saw further sell out performances from ElbowGeorge Benson, Kacey Musgraves, Jack Savoretti and Ball & Boe, alongside hugely popular shows featuring McFly, UB40, Ministry Of Sound Classical and The Human League. Before the concerts, audiences headed to the Palace early to indulge in delicious street food and luxurious Fortnum & Mason picnics in the East Front Gardens under record breaking summer sunshine.

With the 2022 programme now concluded, tickets will be on sale for 2023’s summer line-up of stars in the upcoming months. The line-up will be announced soon.

Hampton Court Palace Festival is a series of truly special and unique open-air concerts. Artists perform in an intimate 3,000-seat auditorium in Base Court, set against the backdrop of Henry VIII’s magnificent Tudor Palace.
