Big Feastival 2022 is only one month away!

Big Feastival, proudly presented by M&S Food, is now only a month away from its return to the Cotswolds. Hosted at Alex James’ Farm over the Bank Holiday Weekend on 26-28 August 2022, the festival is once again bringing the very best of live music, critically acclaimed chefs, award-winning street food and an unrivalled programme of family entertainment. Big Feastival 2022 features an epic line-up of headline acts, kicking off the party on Friday night are synth-pop icons The Human League. Since forming in 1977, the outfit has sold more than 20 million records worldwide and will undoubtedly delight music fans with timeless classics including Don’t You Want Me and Human. Saturday night will see pop sensation and multi-platinum selling singer-songwriter Anne-Marie bring her seamless blend of pop, garage, and grime to the farm, performing hits from her acclaimed second album Therapy and debut Speak Your Mind. Bringing the festival to an anthemic close on Sunday night will be UK rock royalty Stereophonics. The Welsh BRIT award-winning rockers have a back catalogue like no other, including five consecutive UK No. 1 albums, 11 Top 10 singles, and a revered history of legendary live performances. The weekend will also include performances from Sugababes, Basement Jaxx (DJ set), Jake Bugg, Jax Jones, Gabrielle, Sam Ryder and many more!
 
Big Feastival is also thrilled to welcome a plethora of rising stars that will be playing the returning BBC Music Introducing Stage across the weekend. The stage will showcase the very best in new music from across the country and the local Oxfordshire scene, after a hugely successful debut year at the festival in 2021.
 
Taking the Main Stage as hosts for 2022 will be BBC Radio 1’s favourite Radio and Television presenter Vick Hope who will be hyping up the audience for a fantastic weekend of entertainment on Friday. One of the country’s most popular presenters, “Love Island” host and “Celebrity Juice” staple Laura Whitmore will introduce the day’s entertainment on Saturday, while Radio and TV favourite Vernon Kay will keep crowds entertained across Sunday.
 
The chef line-up will have mouths drooling with the likes of Clare Smyth MBE, who became the first British woman to be awarded three Michelin stars, pastry chef extraordinaire, author and Junior Bake Off judge Ravneet Gill and the mastermind behind Wahaca, Thomasina Miers who is set to showcase her incredible Mexican street food that the nation has come to love. Also on the bill is the BBC’s Great British Menu winner James Cochran, TV favourite Romy Gill MBE, Tom BarnesRobin Gill, Ching He Huang MBE and more.
 
Renowned for its exceptional family entertainment offerings, Big Feastival will keep even the littlest of festival goers entertained throughout the weekend. This year will see Children’s TV Megastar Justin Fletcher MBE and Andy & the Odd Socks take to the Main Stage, while the Emmy-award winning puppy siblings Bluey and Bingo and Julia Donaldson’s accident-prone dragon Zog will be causing mischief in the Little Dudes Den. Big Feastival’s incredible programme for 2022 will also see a brand-new BBC CBeebies Bedtime Stories stage, recreating the iconic BBC CBeebies show and bringing some of the UK’s most loved stars and entertainers to the Cotswolds for a special stories treat. 
 
Brand new for 2022, The Smokery is set to offer the ultimate country and western fix for festival goers. The area will be home to the new Sundown Saloon stage, which will play host to a mix of brilliant live performances from some of Britain’s finest Americana and Blues artists. The Smokery will also host the iconic Feast On The Farm, where foodies can treat themselves to a fine rustic dining experience with a not-to-be-missed menu. 
 
The legendary Cheese Hub will also see stellar DJ sets from some of the nation’s best acts whilst The Bandstand will see lots of classic Feastival fun, including drag queen appearances, a 90s Pop vs Rave party and swing dancing sessions.
 
Other new additions include the Hidden Hollow, where kids and adults alike can get involved with bushcraft and den building, and an all-new Crafty Corner within the Village Green will house a variety of crafting activities.
