Forbidden Forest Festival, which will be held in the grounds of Belvoir Castle on 30th May-3rd June, has announced sixteen more names for its already stellar 2024 lineup.
The announcement comes days after the Midlands show, which is the biggest electronic event in the region, had a revised licence application approved by Melton Borough Council which allows it to accommodate 22,000 people versus 14,999 which its previous licence allowed for. The decision comes as good news to festival goers, with many having inundated organisers with requests to release more tickets after the event initially sold out in just 36 hours last year.
Added to the lineup are techno titan Carl Cox, Music On mastermind Marco Carola, Green Velvet, Scottish trailblazer Ewan McVicar, Franky Wah, Horse Meat Disco, who are celebrating 20 years of their signature disco sound this year, UK garage DJ Sammy Virji, Todd Terry, BK, Bklava, Chloe Robinson, Jenn Getz and Alfie, Notion, Oppidan, pioneering Haçienda DJ Paulette and Tom Starr. They will join Sonny Fodera, PAWSA, Patrick Topping, Jamie Jones, Dennis Cruz, Hannah Laing, Hybrid Minds and Wilkinson and many more in the Forest for the biggest Forbidden event yet.
James Cohen, owner of Forbidden Forest Festival, said: “We can’t wait to welcome our Forbidden Family back to the Forest this year. Their unwavering support has been nothing short of incredible and is a true testament to the community we have built over the last few years. Forbidden has grown from a 1,000 capacity party in the woods to the unique forest party that we know today and we can’t wait for people to experience what we have in store for them.”
Described as ‘a beautiful festival with an unbeatable atmosphere’ by festival goers in 2023, Forbidden Forest 2024 is the perfect way to kickstart your summer.
Tickets will go on sale for one day only at 10am on Friday 26th January at www.forbidden-forest.co.uk/tickets.
